Hello to all members...Especially those that were at Camp Howze 1979-1980.
Served with Medical platoon 91CT SP6 . Found memories of always being cold and everthing was up hill ! Sad memories for those lost during TEAM Spirit ( least we forget ) |

My Dad was in the Korea War and has a T Shirt with the 31st Polar Bear insignia on the front. Is there any way to check if this was actually his division? His name is Andrew (AKA: Andy) Cleck.
Thanks |

My great uncle - Oliver Wallace - was in Co. B 31st United States Volunteer Infantry 7-13-1899 to 6-18-1901. He was in the Phillipine Islands during the Spanish American War.

I remember when I was taking my AIT in Ft. Rucker, AL., we were wearing the
Polar Bear crests and we had just been given authority to wear the black belt. This was in 1958 and some new recruits were coming in in busses and were saluting us thinking we were officers with the Polar Bear crests and the black belts. Bradley G. Rice
